Shoporama has tons of built-in features to help you reach the top of the search engines. Read about them here.
Granted - that's a bold claim. But we stand by it. Here you can read about all the things that make Shoporama special in Google's eyes.
Speed has a big impact on your rankings.
Time and time again, studies have shown that speed is an important factor for your rankings. That's why we've put a lot of emphasis on speed.
Shoporama is much faster than other shopping systems.
For example, images are in .webp format by default. Images in .webp take up about 10% of the space of an image in .jpg format.
Shoporama shops are also all cached and run on http2, which is a faster version of http (the way websites are transferred to users).
Want to see a fast Shoporama shop?
Take a look at Basketmaker or Hafiska.
They both load in under 600 milliseconds.
A widely used feature is to create titles with year or season, such as "Best running shoes (summer 2024)".
But you don't get to maintain that when you run your webshop.
So we've created a feature where you simply type "Best running shoes ([SEASON] [YEAR])" and we make sure to replace it with (spring 2024), (summer 2024), (fall 2024), (winter 2024), (spring 2025) etc.
You can also use [MONTH] and [PRICE] to make sure your titles are fresh.
You don't need to have a webshop called dinwebshop.dk/shop/frontpage.html or dinwebshop.dk/collections/loebecykler
Strange URLs like these are a thing of 2001.
In Shoporama, you decide what your URLs should be called. And both users and Google like that.
Our landing pages are a kind of dynamic categories.
Imagine you sell dog food and have these categories, among others:
A product can easily be in all six categories. And all six categories can rank well in Google
But there are also people who Google "Organic puppy food" or "Organic dog food with lamb" or "Gilpa grain-free dog food".
To capture these searches, you can quickly create a dynamic category in Shoporama. Here's how it works:
This way you can easily create many more categories for the same products and attract much more traffic from search engines.
Link juice is a term that means "value transferred by links from other sites". When a site links to you, you get link value. If the site has linked incorrectly or you have deleted the product they link to, you don't get the value that the link normally provides in relation to your rankings.
If we detect such links, we will notify you in Shoporama. You can then set up a redirect and make sure you retain the value of that link.
And speaking of redirects. Of course, you can easily create redirects in Shoporama. Not just regular redirects, but also regular expressions.
And we know it's easy to slip up. So when you delete a product, we ask you if you want us to redirect it somewhere.
In addition to all these options for making your shop attractive to search engines, we organize several different events every year. Here we help you make your shop better - also in relation to search engines.
