Every now and then you need to communicate something important to your visitors. It could be that free shipping is available, that your products will arrive before Christmas, that you're having a sale or something else that can increase your conversion rate.
This information can be placed anywhere, but to ensure that as many people as possible see it, it makes sense to use a sticky bar.
A sticky bar "sticks" - hence the name "sticky". This means that even if the user scrolls down, your bar with information is still visible. You can see an example in the gif below.
When building your online store, it's a good idea to have a feature where you can enable and disable your sticky bar.
