As a webshop owner, you typically have many categories for your products.
Imagine you sell wine. You have red wine, white wine and rosé. You have wine from France, Spain and Italy.
You even have wine divided into the different wine regions in those countries.
You have wines from the Malbec grape, Syrah grape and Zinfandel grape.
You have wines from 2000, 2001, 2002 etc.
That in itself is a lot of categories. But to get the most visitors from search engines, you'll also want to create categories with "Red wine from France" or "French red wine vintage 2001" or "Zinfandel red wine".
Creating and maintaining all these categories would be a lot of work. That's why we have created landing pages that are actually "dynamic categories". That is, they are categories that change their content.
In traditional categories, the merchant sits and adds and removes products themselves. But in our landing pages, you set up some rules. A rule could be "all products that are both in the France category and in the Malbec category and in the red wine category". Then Shoporama will take all the products that are in all three categories and combine them into a new category. This makes your work a lot easier.
Almost the biggest help comes when you have a "category" with discounted items. Because you no longer have to remove a product from the "offer category". You've simply set up your landing page to take all items that are discounted. So when you remove the offer price on an item, we remove it from the category. Smart, right?
