Buy a t-shirt, a pair of shorts and a hat. These are three individual products. But you can also create a bundle that contains all three products and, for example, "Beach kit". You choose a new price for the product so that the customer gets some discount by buying all three products. And of course, on the product page for "Beach kit", the customer can choose the size of both t-shirt and shorts.
