GDPR - Data Processing Agreement

Information about data processing agreement with Shoporama according to GDPR.

As the data controller, you are required to have a data processing agreement with Shoporama, since we process personal data on your behalf. Shoporama provides a data processing agreement that you can easily sign.

How to sign

  1. Go to Account in the left-hand menu
  2. Select “Company” and click “Data Processing Agreement”
  3. Read the agreement and sign it
  4. The agreement is then valid and saved to your account

The Data Processing Agreement is located under Account, Company, Data Processing Agreement. Once the agreement has been entered into, the status “Entered into” will appear along with the date, and you can download the agreement as a PDF.

What does the agreement cover?

The Data Processing Agreement covers Shoporama’s processing of personal data, including:

  • Customer data, name, address, email, and phone number from orders
  • Order data: order details, payment information, and shipping information
  • Newsletter subscribers: email addresses from sign-ups
  • Statistics, visitor data, and behavior in your store

Your Responsibilities as a Store Owner

In addition to the data processing agreement with Shoporama, you should, at a minimum:

  • Have a privacy policy on your online store
  • Obtain cookie consent and inform visitors about the use of cookies
  • Maintain a record of processing activities
  • Comply with the rules for storing and deleting personal data
