Set up Burd integration
Guide to setting up Burd same-day delivery on your Shoporama online store.
Burd offers same-day delivery in selected postcodes (primarily Greater Copenhagen and surrounding areas). With Shoporama's Burd integration, you can offer your customers fast delivery directly from your shop.
Prerequisites
- An agreement with Burd
- Your Burd API token
- Your sender address must be within Burd's coverage area
Setting up in Shoporama
- Click on Settings (the gear)
- Click on the three dots and select "Burd"
- Insert your Burd API token
- Enter your return address
- Click Save
Create shipping option
You also need to create a shipping option that uses Burd as a shipping module:
- Go to Settings → Shipping
- Click "Create new shipping option"
- Give it a name (e.g. "Same-day delivery with Burd")
- Select Burd as the shipping module
- Click Save
- Assign the shipping option to the relevant countries
How it works
Burd automatically checks if the customer's address is within their coverage area. The shipping option only appears for customers who can receive Burd delivery.
Tip to use
Burd is a great complement to your other shipping options. Customers in the coverage area can choose same-day delivery, while customers outside the coverage area can still use PostNord, GLS etc.
