Restore a deleted category
Information about restoring deleted categories in Shoporama - what is possible and what is not.
Unfortunately, a deleted category cannot be recreated in Shoporama. When a category is deleted, it is permanently removed from the system.
What can you do to fix this?
- Create the category again - You can create a new category with the same name and settings.
- Reassociate products - Products that were in the deleted category must be reassociated with the new category manually or via CSV import.
Prevent category loss
Be careful with the delete button and consider backing up your categories via CSV export under Products → Categories → Export.
