Can my developer integrate with a payment gateway himself?

Explanation of why payment gateway integrations require Shoporama to perform them and what you can do.

Payment gateway integrations must be performed by Shoporama. They cannot be implemented via the REST API or within the theme.

You can find API access under Integrations. This is where you create tokens for Shoporama’s REST API, but a payment gateway cannot be built via the API.

Why?

Payment transactions require secure communication between your online store, Shoporama’s server, and the payment gateway. For security reasons, this communication cannot be handled outside of the server.

Shoporama currently supports the following payment gateways:

  • QuickPay
  • OnPay
  • PensoPay
  • ePay (Bambora)
  • Nets Easy
  • DIBS
  • Mollie
  • PayPal
  • Payson
  • Przelewy24
