Why does the text look different in the shop than in the backend?

When you copy text from a Word document, a supplier's website or a PDF and paste it into Shoporama's WYSIWYG editor, it often comes with hidden formatting. This formatting can make the text look different in your online store.

How to avoid this problem

Mac / Apple

Copy as normal with Cmd + C, but paste with:

Cmd + Option + Shift + V

Windows / Windows

Copy as normal with Ctrl + C, but paste with:

Ctrl + Shift + V

Alternative method

You can also use Notepad/Notepad as an intermediate: Copy the text → paste into Notepad → copy from Notepad → paste into Shoporama. Notepad will remove all formatting automatically.

Already pasted incorrectly formatted text?

Copy the text from Shoporama, paste it into Notepad, copy from Notepad and paste it back into Shoporama. The formatting is then removed.
