Receive email when stock is low

Guide to receive an email notification when the stock status of a product reaches a certain quantity.

Shoporama can send you an email notification when the stock of a product reaches a certain quantity. Here's how to enable the feature.

How to set it up

  1. Click on the gear (top right in admin)
  2. Select the Mails menu item
  3. Under "Mails on stock status" enter the quantity to trigger an email - e.g. 5 to be notified when there are 5 or less in stock
  4. Click Save

When will the email be sent?

The email is sent when the stock status of a product reaches the quantity you have specified. This happens automatically when an order is placed, which reduces the stock level.

Turn it off

If you don't want to receive emails, leave the field empty.

Tip: Tip

The email is sent to the user who is set up to receive system emails. See the article Which user receives system emails? to change this.
