Price watch

How to set up price monitoring of your competitor

Læsetid: ca. 1-2 minutter

This article is about Shoporama's built-in price monitor. With our price monitor, you can monitor a single competitor's price for a specific product. You can choose to always adjust your price according to this competitor, so that you are always, for example, 1,- below the competitor.

How to set up price monitoring

  1. Click on the link here to create a watch.
  2. In the first dropdown, select the one of your products that you would like to link to the watch.
  3. In the next field (Product URL), insert the link to your competitor's product
  4. In the last field (Search price string), enter the price (e.g. 19.00). This is the price Shoporama will look for on the competitor's website.
  5. Your watch is now set up and running daily.
  6. If you want to adjust the price of your product depending on the monitoring, you need to edit the product.
  7. In the menu, select "Tools" (click ... in the menu and select "Tools")
  8. In the first field, you can choose how much you want to undercut the competitor's price
  9. In the second field, you can set a minimum limit that the price should never go below.
  10. In the third field, you can set a maximum limit that the price must not exceed.
  11. Scroll down to the bottom and click "Save". Your monitoring is now active

Note that

Shoporama's monitoring is dependent on us being able to find the price on the website. It is an automated monitoring, so not all online stores can be monitored.
