B2B orders ready for invoicing
If you sell to businesses, orders are rarely just a credit card payment. The customer needs an invoice with a CVR number—perhaps linked to an EAN number—and the price must be listed excluding VAT. With Shoporama’s Uniconta app, the online store order is transferred as a sales order that already contains this information, so you can review it and invoice it in Uniconta as usual.
It imports your business orders with
- The company as the customer. The app finds the company in Uniconta using the CVR number. If it isn’t found, a new customer is created with the company name, contact person, address, email, phone number, CVR number, and EAN number.
- Prices excluding VAT. Business orders are imported with prices excluding VAT, exactly as you see them. Personal orders are imported with prices including VAT, so you can have both types of customers in the same online store.
- The correct payment terms. Orders with payment by invoice and orders with an EAN number are assigned the payment terms you’ve selected for invoice orders, e.g., Net 8 days.
- Your reference. The online store’s order number appears in “Your ref.,” and the customer’s comment—such as a purchase order number—appears in the “Remarks” field.
- Delivery address. If the goods are to be delivered to a location other than the billing address, the delivery address will appear on the sales order when the “Delivery Address” feature is enabled in Uniconta.

Sales to Businesses Abroad
If you sell to businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT number, the order is VAT-exempt because the buyer pays the VAT themselves. The app assigns the VAT code for EU businesses (UEUV by default) to the line items, and a new customer is assigned the VAT zone “EU.” VAT-exempt orders to countries outside the EU are assigned the VAT code for sales outside the EU (by default, U3L). If you sell in multiple countries, each with its own currency, orders in, for example, euros will be processed with the currency and exchange rate included.
You review the order before invoicing
The app creates sales orders, not invoices. This gives you one last chance to review the order, for example, to add the customer’s purchase order number or correct a line item. When you invoice in Uniconta, you choose how the invoice is sent. The EAN number is listed under Accounts Receivable, so it’s included when you invoice. Your Uniconta reseller can help you with how to send an invoice to an EAN number from Uniconta.

Here’s how to get started
- Set up Uniconta. Find your company ID, create a user with write access, and enable the Orders and Shipping Address features.
- Install the app under Integrations, Apps in Shoporama.
- Select payment terms and tax codes. The lists are retrieved from your accounting system, so choose the codes you use in your accounting.

Frequently Asked Questions About B2B Webshops with Uniconta
Are the CVR and EAN numbers transferred to Uniconta?
Yes. When the app creates a new customer, it retrieves the CVR number and EAN number from the order. If the company already exists in Uniconta with the same CVR number, the app uses that customer record.
When does an order count as a business order?
When the order has a CVR number or an EAN number. In that case, it is imported with prices excluding VAT, regardless of how the customer paid. Orders with an EAN number always receive the payment terms for invoice orders, while a customer with a CVR number who pays by card receives the terms for paid orders.
Can I set different payment terms for invoice customers than for card customers?
Yes. You select one payment term for paid orders—for example, “Cash”—and one for orders paid by invoice and orders with an EAN number—for example, “Net 8 days.” The lists are retrieved from your accounting system in Uniconta.
Does the app send the invoice to the customer’s EAN number?
No. The app creates the sales order, and you invoice it in Uniconta. The EAN number is listed on the customer record, so it’s included when you invoice. Your Uniconta reseller can help you with how to send the EAN invoice from Uniconta.
Are credit memos transferred to business customers?
Yes. If you issue a credit memo for a transferred order, the credit memo appears as a sales order with a negative quantity. If you invoice it in Uniconta, it becomes a credit memo.
