As a store owner, you are the data controller for the personal data your customers provide. Shoporama is the data processor and provides a data processing agreement for you to sign.

Sign your data processing agreement

Go to " Account " in the menu on the left
Click on " Company"
You’ll find the agreement under “Data Processing Agreement ”
Read through it and sign it

Here you’ll see the status "Signed" along with the button to download the signed agreement.

Why is this necessary?

The GDPR requires that you have a written agreement with everyone who processes personal data on your behalf. Shoporama stores and processes:

Customer information — name, address, email, phone number
Order data — what the customer has purchased and paid for
Newsletter subscribers — registered email addresses

Important

The Data Processing Agreement is a legal requirement. Be sure to sign it as soon as you set up your store.
