Data Processor Agreement
Guide to approving the data processing agreement with Shoporama under the GDPR.
As a store owner, you are the data controller for the personal data your customers provide. Shoporama is the data processor and provides a data processing agreement for you to sign.
Sign your data processing agreement
- Go to " Account " in the menu on the left
- Click on " Company"
- You’ll find the agreement under “Data Processing Agreement ”
- Read through it and sign it
Why is this necessary?
The GDPR requires that you have a written agreement with everyone who processes personal data on your behalf. Shoporama stores and processes:
- Customer information — name, address, email, phone number
- Order data — what the customer has purchased and paid for
- Newsletter subscribers — registered email addresses

Important
The Data Processing Agreement is a legal requirement. Be sure to sign it as soon as you set up your store.
