Put a file in the root of your online store

Sometimes you need to put a file in the root of your online store - for example, a verification file for Google Search Console, an ads.txt or similar.

Here's how you do it

  1. Click the cog in the top right corner of your admin
  2. Go to Files
  3. Upload your file - it will automatically be placed in the root of your online shop
  4. The file is now available at dinshop.dk/filename.txt

Typical uses

  • Google Search Console - verification file (e.g. google1234abc.html)
  • ads.txt - for ad networks
  • apple-developer-merchantid - for Apple Pay verification
  • Other verification files - from various services

Alternative: Via SFTP

If you have SFTP access (Pro subscription), you can also add files directly to the root via your SFTP client.

Please note

Files must be small and in text format. You cannot upload large files or executable scripts via this feature.
