How to set up Epay as a payment gateway
Guide to setting up Epay as a payment gateway
Epay is one of the payment gateways that Shoporama supports. Here you will find a guide to setting it up.
- Log in to Shoporama
- Click on Settings on the left-hand side
- Scroll down a bit and click on "Payment gateways"
- Click on the link "Create new payment gateway"
- Give it a name such as "Credit card"
- Select "Epay" in the dropdown
- Click "Save"
- In the "Merchant ID" field, enter your Merchant ID from Epay.
- In the "Secret" field, enter a password of your choice (you'll need this later in Epay - you can choose B0ng0Tr0mm3 for example - or not, but choose a longer password)
- In the "Windowstate" field, type 3
- In the "Password (for capture)" field, type in another password of your choice. We choose BananaM00n in this example.
- If you want, you can attach an image that will be displayed if your theme uses it.
- Click "Save"
Now it's time to log in to Epay.
- Click Settings on the left side
- Click on Payment system
- Under "Business number" is a number. Usually 7 digits. This is your Merchant ID, which you will need in step 8 above.
- In the MD5 key field, enter the password you wrote above (in the example B0ng0tr0mm3)
- Click "Save payment system settings"
- Then click on API/Webservices on the left side
- Click on "Access"
- In the "Web service password" field, enter the password you created in Step 11 above (BananaM00n)
- Now click on "Save password"
- Now you need to enter Shoporama's IP address and grant it access. It is 91.223.235.80
- You can give it a name and we recommend just calling it Shoporama so you know what has access to your payment gateway
- Click "Save changes"
You should now be ready to accept payments with Epay.
