Security profiles (GPSR)

The EU’s General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requires that products sold online include clear information about the manufacturer and safety. In Shoporama, you can create safety profiles that automatically appear on your product pages.

Create a Safety Profile

1. Go to Account > Web Store > Safety Profiles
2. Click Create New Safety Profile
3. Give the profile a name (e.g., “Toy Safety” or “Electronics CE”)
4. Save the profile

Add documentation

Once the profile is created, you can upload images and documents (e.g., CE marking, safety data sheets, or manufacturer information). You can upload multiple files and reorder them using drag-and-drop.

Assign a safety profile to a product

1. Go to the product edit page for the product in question
2. Find the “Safety Profile ” field under the general settings
3. Select the desired profile from the drop-down menu
4. Save the product

You can use the same security profile for multiple products. For example, if you have 50 products from the same manufacturer, you only need to create one profile and assign it to all 50 products.

Display in the online store

The safety profile is automatically displayed on the product page in a section called "Product Safety." This section displays manufacturer information (name, address, contact) and the uploaded safety documents.

Copy profiles between stores

If you have multiple online stores, you can copy safety profiles from one store to another. Select the desired profiles in the overview, check the box next to the destination store under “Copy selected to another online store,” and click Copy.
