Security profiles (GPSR)

The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) requires products sold online to have clear manufacturer and safety information. In Shoporama, you can create safety profiles that automatically appear on your product pages.

Create a safety profile

1. Go to Settings > Product > Security profiles
2. Click Create new security profile
3. Give the profile a name (e.g. "Toy Safety" or "Electronics CE")
4. Save the profile

Add documentation

Once the profile is created, you can upload images and documents (e.g. CE marking, safety data sheets or manufacturer information). You can upload multiple files and change the order with drag-and-drop.

Assign a safety profile to a product

1. Go to the product editor for that product
2. Find the Security profile field under the general settings
3. Select the desired profile from the dropdown menu
4. Save the product

You can use the same security profile for multiple products. For example, if you have 50 products from the same manufacturer, you only need to create one profile and assign it to all 50 products.

Display in the webshop

The security profile is automatically displayed on the product page in a section called "Product security". Manufacturer information (name, address, contact) and the uploaded security documents are shown here.

Copy profiles between shops

If you have multiple webshops, you can copy security profiles from one shop to another. Select the desired profiles in the overview and choose the target shop from the "Copy selected to" dropdown menu.
