Switch between old and new backend

Guide to switching between the old and new backend in Shoporama.

Shoporama has two versions of the admin: the new Bootstrap-based version and the old responsive version. You can switch between them if you need to access a feature in one version or the other.

How to switch

  1. Click your company name at the top of the admin
  2. Click Switch backend
  3. You will now switch to the other version of the admin

The difference

  • New backend (Bootstrap ) - modern design, better mobile experience, active development
  • Old backend (Responsive ) - older design, some features not yet migrated

We recommend using the new backend for daily use. The old backend can be used if you need a specific feature that is not yet available in the new version.

Tip to keep in mind

All new features are developed exclusively for the new backend. The old version is maintained, but does not receive new features.
