  • Your name and webshop
  • Description of the problem
  • Your callback phone number

Notes: This service is only for critical situations where your webshop is down or has serious problems. For regular support, please use our normal support channels.

Change the content of your emails

Guide to customize the content of the automatic emails your Shoporama webshop sends, either via admin or theme templates.

There are two ways to change the content of your automated emails: via the general settings of the shop (easy) or by editing the theme templates (requires developer).

Method 1: Via the shop settings (recommended)

  1. Go to Account → Online shop → General in the left menu ( /webshop/edit page)
  2. Find the mail settings section
  3. Here you can change the subject line and extra text for your transactional emails
  4. Click Save

The mail settings are part of the general shop setup, not a separate menu item. See settings for transactional emails for details.

Method 2: Edit theme templates (advanced)

For full control over email layout and content, you can edit the email templates in your theme:

  1. Find the mail templates in your theme's templates/mails/ folder
  2. Edit via SFTP or theme editor
  3. Use Smarty variables for dynamic content

See the email templates in your theme and which templates are used for which emails.

What can you customize?

  • Subject line - what the customer sees in their inbox
  • Extra text - personal message in the email
  • Layout - via theme templates (advanced)
  • Attachments - attach files

Tips for customization

You can also customize emails based on the shipping method, e.g. show shipping info for delivery but pickup info for in-store purchases.
