When will I get my money paid out?

When a customer pays in your shop, the money goes through your payment gateway and acquirer. Here's an overview of when you typically get paid out.

Payout flow

The process takes place in three steps:

  1. The customer pays - the money is reserved on the customer's card
  2. You withdraw the payment - in Shoporama or via the gateway
  3. Acquirer pays - the money is transferred to your bank account

Withdrawal of payment

The money is only withdrawn when you change the order status. Many merchants withdraw when the order is shipped. You can also set up automatic withdrawal.

Tip on how to do this

Contact your acquirer for exact payout times and conditions. Shoporama handles the payment process, but the actual payout to your bank is between the gateway, acquirer and your bank.
