Notes: This service is only for critical situations where your webshop is down or has serious problems. For regular support, please use our normal support channels.

Get an email when a new order is placed

Guide to setting up email notification when a new order is received in your Shoporama online shop.

You can have Shoporama send you an email notification every time a new order is placed. This way you're always updated when a customer shops in your store.

How to activate notifications

  1. Click the gear in the top right corner of your admin
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Find the Notifications section
  4. Enable Email on new order
  5. Enter the email address that should receive the notification
  6. Click Save

What does the email contain?

The notification email contains the most important order information:

  • Order number
  • Customer name and email
  • Order amount
  • Products ordered
  • Shipping method

Multiple recipients

You can enter multiple email addresses separated by commas so that multiple people receive the notification. See also our guide for multiple recipients on the contact form.

SMS notification

In addition to email, you can also receive SMS notifications for new orders. This requires an SMS integration. You can optionally turn off SMS notification if you only want email.
