Set up PostNord with parcel shop
Guide to setting up PostNord with parcel shop as a shipping option in your Shoporama online shop.
This guide shows you how to set up PostNord as a shipping option with parcel shop selection in your Shoporama online shop. Once setup is complete, your customers can choose a PostNord parcel shop at checkout.
1. Create the shipping option
- Click on Settings (cogwheel)
- Click on the Shipping tab
- Click on the button "Create new shipping option"
- Fill in the fields:
- Name: e.g. "PostNord to parcel shop"
- Tracking URL:
https://www.postnord.dk/track-trace#dynamicloading=true&shipmentid=%ID% - Shipping module: Select "PostDanmark"
- Check "Send email to recipient when item is shipped"
- Click Save
2. Link to countries
The shipping option needs to be assigned to the countries where you offer it:
- Click the Countries tab (next to Shipping)
- Click Edit next to the country you want to assign (typically Denmark)
- Make sure your new shipping option is selected in the "Shipping options" list
- Click Save
3. Set shipping price
If you want to set a price for the shipping option:
- Click on the Shipping rates tab
- Set the price for your PostNord parcel shop shipping option
- Click Save
Tip for setting a price
You can set up different prices based on order amount - for example, free shipping above a certain amount. This is configured under shipping rates.
Troubleshooting
- Parcel shop selection not showing? - Some custom themes may not show shipping options. Contact support@shoporama.dk and we will help you
- Shipping option not showing in checkout? - Check that it is linked to the correct country in the Countries tab
- Wrong tracking link? - Make sure the tracking URL contains
%ID%, which is replaced with the actual tracking number
