Payson payment gateway
Guide to setting up Payson as a payment gateway in Shoporama. Accept payments from Swedish and Nordic customers.
Payson is a Swedish payment solution that can be used as a payment gateway in Shoporama. This is especially relevant if you sell to the Swedish or Nordic market.
How to set up
- Create an account with Payson
- Get your Agent ID and API key from Payson
- Go to Settings → Payment gateways in the Shoporama administration
- Add Payson as a payment gateway
- Enter Agent ID and API key
- Select language and allowed countries
- Save the settings
Settings → Settings
- Language - Select the language for the payment form: Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, English, German or Spanish
- Countries - Limit which countries customers can select: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, UK, Germany, Netherlands - or allow all countries
How it works
When a customer chooses Payson at checkout:
- The customer sees a payment form from Payson directly on your webshop
- The customer enters their payment details
- Payson processes the payment and confirms to Shoporama
- The order is automatically marked as paid and the customer receives an order confirmation
Shipping and status update
When you mark an order as shipped in Shoporama, the status update is automatically sent to Payson. This ensures that Payson and Shoporama are always synchronized.
