Pick list
Guide to Shoporama's pick list. Pick and pack orders efficiently with barcode scanning, batch management and mobile-friendly interface.
The pick list in Shoporama gives you an overview of all orders to be packed. You can see the products, quantity, stock location and item numbers for each order and mark products as packed as you pick them.
Open the pick list
You can find the pick list under Orders → Pick list in the administration. The list shows all orders with the status "In progress". In the menu you can see the number of orders waiting to be picked.
What is shown for each order?
For each order in the picking list you see:
- Order number and any order labels
- Product image - Click to see a larger image
- Product name and quantity - Quantity is shown as a badge
- Variants - Size, color and other attributes
- Stock location - Highlighted to help you find the item quickly
- Item number (SKU) and barcode (GTIN/EAN)
- Current stock status
- Internal comments - Can be edited directly from the pick list
Pick and pack
For each product there is a "Packed" checkbox. As you pick and pack the items, you mark them as packed. A counter shows how many items are packed out of the total number. When all items are packed, the order is visually marked green.
Change order status
Once the order is packed, you can change the status directly from the pick list:
- Change to pending - If the order needs to wait (e.g. missing items)
- Change to complete - The order is packed and ready to ship
- Change to shipped - The order has been shipped to the customer
Batch management when picking
If you use batch management, you can choose which batch the items are picked from. The system automatically suggests the oldest batch (FIFO) so you always send items with the shortest shelf life first. You can also split an order line into multiple batches if there are not enough in one batch.
Use on mobile or tablet
The pick list can be installed as an app on your mobile or tablet so you can walk around the warehouse and pick orders directly from your device. This provides a focused workflow without distractions from the rest of the administration.
Tip to use
Combine the pick list with warehouse locations for the most efficient picking process. When all products have a stock location, you can quickly find the items in your warehouse.
