Send an SMS with the following information:

  • Your name and webshop
  • Description of the problem
  • Your callback phone number

Notes: This service is only for critical situations where your webshop is down or has serious problems. For regular support, please use our normal support channels.

Turn off SMS notification on order status

Guide to disable the SMS notification that appears when you change the order status to 'sent'.

Shoporama can send an SMS to the customer when you mark the order as shipped. If you don't want to send SMS messages, you can turn the feature off.

Turn off SMS notification

  1. Go to Account in the left menu
  2. Select Online Shop and open General
  3. Find the option "Send SMS when order is marked as shipped"
  4. Remove the checkmark to turn off the feature
  5. Click Save

When is the SMS sent?

Shoporama automatically sends an SMS to the customer when an order is marked as shipped. This is the only status that triggers an SMS by default, and it can be toggled on and off in the setting above.

Fees and charges

SMS notifications may incur fees. Check your settings for current prices.

Tip to keep in mind

Email notifications are free and send automatically. Many merchants choose to use email only and turn SMS off to save costs.
