With the Address & Map module, you can display your physical store’s address along with an interactive map directly on your online store. It’s perfect for an “About Us” page, a contact page, or the homepage, so customers can easily see where to find you.

Best of all, the module doesn’t require a Google Maps API key, an account, or any payment. Just enter your address, and the map appears automatically. The module is part of Page Designer and is available in the Delaware, DelawareDK, and Montana themes.

How to Add Address & Map

  1. Go to Page Designer and open (or create) the page layout you want to edit, such as your “About Us” page.
  2. Add a new block and select Address & Map from the list of block types, just as you would select Hero, Text, or Newsletter.
  3. Enter your address in the address field, e.g., Example Street 12, 9999 Example City.
  4. Select the layout, zoom level, and height as needed, then save.

The map will automatically locate the place based on the address. You can always preview the page using the preview link in the Page Designer before publishing.

In the Page Designer, open the “Add Section” panel and select the “Address & Map” block type. The block displays the store’s address along with an interactive map on the page.

Two ways to display the map

You can choose between a quick method and a very precise method:

  • Enter the address (recommended): Simply fill in the address field, and the map will automatically locate the place. It’s quick and requires no setup.
  • Paste your own embed code (advanced): If you want a precise marker, you can use the “Custom embed code” field. Go to Google Maps, find your location, select Share, then Embed a map, and copy the HTML code into the field. If you fill in this field, your code will be used instead of the automatic address search.

Settings

  • Heading: An optional heading above the block, such as “Find Us” or “Visit the Store.”
  • Address: Displays as plain text on the page and is also used to locate the place on the map. You can enter it across multiple lines.
  • Additional Info: A rich text field for, e.g., business hours, phone number, or brief directions. Displays below the address.
  • Layout: Map on the right, map on the left, or full-width map only.
  • Zoom level: Close-up (street), normal (neighborhood), or overview (city).
  • Map height: Low, medium, or high.
  • Show directions link: If you enable this, a “Get Directions” link will appear, which opens Google Maps with directions to your address.

Good for your local visibility

Because the address appears as plain text on the page, it’s both good for search engines (local SEO) and easy for customers to highlight and copy. If you have multiple physical stores, you can add multiple “Address & Map” blocks to the same page so that each store has its own map.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost, and do I need to create a Google account?

It’s free, and you don’t need to create an account or an API key. Just add the block, enter your address, and the map will appear automatically.

Where can I find the module?

You’ll find it in the Page Builder, where you create your pages. Add “Address & Map” as a block just like you would “Hero,” “Text,” or “Newsletter.”

Can I add the map to all my pages?

Yes. The block can be selected on all page types, such as the homepage, static pages, landing pages, categories, products, and the blog. You’re not limited to just the contact page.

The pin is slightly off. Can I make it more precise?

Yes. Use the “Custom Embed Code (Advanced)” field. Go to Google Maps, select Share, then Embed a Map, and copy the HTML code into the field. That way, the map will be positioned exactly where you want it.

Does the map work on mobile?

Yes, the map is responsive and automatically adapts to mobile devices. You can choose a low, medium, or high map height depending on how much space you want it to take up.

Can I display opening hours and a phone number next to the map?

Yes, you can enter this information in the “Additional Info” field, which is a rich text field. Here, you can freely enter opening hours, a phone number, or brief directions.

Can customers get directions directly from the page?

Yes. Turn on “Show directions link,” and a “Get directions” link will appear that opens Google Maps with the route to your address.

Can I display multiple stores?

Each block displays one address. If you have multiple stores, simply add more “Address & Map” blocks to the same page so that each store has its own map with its own heading, address, and additional information.
