Stop fraud and spam before it becomes a problem
As a webshop owner, you probably know the problem: fake orders, spam orders and repeated fraud attempts. It costs time, money and frustration to deal with. With Shoporama's blacklist feature, you can proactively block unwanted orders so they never make it to your order list.
Three types of blocking
The blacklist supports three different types of blocking so you can target them precisely:
- Email blocking: Block orders from specific email addresses. Perfect for stopping repeat fraudsters or customers abusing return policies
- IP blocking: Block orders from specific IP addresses. Effective against automated spam attacks and bots
- Phone blocking: Block orders based on phone number. Useful when fraudsters change email but use the same phone
Full logging and statistics
Every time an order is blocked, the event is logged with all relevant details - including IP address, email, phone number and browser information. You also get a statistics overview showing:
- Number of blocked orders today
- Number of blocked orders in the last 7 days
- Total number of blocked orders
- How many times each blacklist rule has been triggered
How to use the blacklist
- Go to Orders → Blacklist in your admin panel
- Activate the blacklist feature with one click
- Add rules by selecting the type (email, IP or phone) and specifying the value to block
- Add a note to remember why the rule was created
- Done - orders from blocked senders are automatically stopped
Quickly add from orders
Have you received a suspicious order? You can add the customer's email, IP address or phone number directly to the blacklist with a single click from the order view. This makes it quick and easy to respond to fraud attempts.
Transparency and control
You always have a full overview of your blacklist rules. Each item shows when it was created, what type of block it is and how many times the rule has blocked an order. You can filter the list by type and easily remove rules that are no longer relevant.
