Claude (AI assistant)

Claude is an AI assistant from Anthropic. It works like ChatGPT but is built with security and reliability in mind. With Shoporama's built-in MCP connection, Claude can control your online store by chatting in Danish.

What is Claude?

Claude is an AI assistant developed by the American company Anthropic. It was first released in 2023 and, along with ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Gemini (Google), is among the most used AI chatbots in the world.

While ChatGPT is known for its breadth and speed, Claude has become known for being particularly good at complex tasks, long texts and understanding nuances in language - including Danish.

Claude and Shoporama

Shoporama is connected to Claude via an open standard called MCP (Model Context Protocol). This means that you can connect your Shoporama webshop with Claude and let the AI perform actions directly in the store: create products, create campaigns, change the front page, get statistics and over 100 other things.

Claude vs. ChatGPT

The two AIs are very similar in use. Differences:

  • Language - Claude handles Danish particularly well, both for understanding and writing
  • Long texts - Claude can handle much longer context than ChatGPT
  • MCP - Claude fully supports MCP, ChatGPT only partially
  • Price - both have free tier and paid plans

Security and privacy

Since its founding, Anthropic has emphasized building AI that is secure, reliable and controllable. By default, Anthropic does not use your chats to train future AI models. Check out their privacy policy if you want the details.
