An online store powered by Uniconta saves you from having to enter data twice
When orders are entered manually, time is spent copying names, addresses, item numbers, and amounts from the online store to the accounting system. It’s tedious work, and it’s easy for a mistake to slip into an amount or a business registration number. With the Uniconta app, the order appears in Uniconta shortly after it’s paid, and the app automatically verifies that the amount in Uniconta matches the order total.
How the Uniconta app works
- The customer shops in the online store. Once the order is paid for—or at the time you’ve selected—Shoporama sends it to the app.
- The customer is either found or created. The app searches for the customer in Uniconta using the CVR number or email address. If the customer isn’t found, a new customer account is created with name, address, email, phone number, CVR, and EAN.
- The sales order is created. It includes the online store’s order number in the “Ref.” field, payment terms, currency, shipping address, and one line item per product, including discounts and shipping costs.
- You create the invoice in Uniconta. The sales order is located under Accounts Receivable, Sales, Sales Orders, ready to be invoiced whenever it’s convenient for you.

What do you get as a store owner?
- No double entry. The order is imported with the customer, item lines, discounts, and shipping.
- Keep track of business customers. Companies are assigned CVR and EAN numbers, and prices are listed excluding VAT. Orders on an invoice or with an EAN number are assigned the payment terms you’ve selected for invoice orders.
- VAT codes on the line items. Items without VAT, EU companies subject to reverse charge, and sales outside the EU each receive their own VAT code. If the order contains items with different VAT rates, the discount is prorated based on those rates.
- You have the final say. The sales order can be corrected before you invoice it.
- Overview in Shoporama. Each order is labeled “uniconta-ok” once it’s been transferred, along with a note containing the sales order number. If there’s an error, it’s labeled “uniconta-failed” with an explanation.
- No duplicates. An order is transferred only once, even if its status changes afterward.
