Static pages are fixed content pages in your online store—such as About Us, Terms and Conditions, Contact, or FAQ. They are independent of products and categories and are typically used for information that doesn't change often.

Where can I find static pages?

You’ll find your static pages under Content → Static Pages in your Shoporama admin panel. Here, you can view an overview of all your pages, create new ones, and reorder them.

Oversigten Statiske sider i Shoporama-admin med kolonnerne ID, Navn, Indhold, og Vægt samt siderne Om os og Størrelsesguide tøj
The list of static pages, which you’ll find under Content in the admin panel. Each page is displayed with its ID, name, URL slug, and a text excerpt; you can create a new page in the top-right corner.

Create a new page

  1. Go to Content → Static Pages
  2. Click Create New Page
  3. Enter a title—it’s also used to automatically generate the page’s URL
  4. Type your content into the text editor
  5. Upload images if desired
  6. Click Save

Edit an existing page

Click the page name in the overview to open the edit page. Here you have access to the following sections:

General

  • Heading — The page’s title, displayed as an H1 on the page
  • Address — The page’s URL slug (e.g., about-us). Generated automatically from the heading, but can be customized
  • Text — The page’s content in a rich-text editor with formatting, links, and images

AI Assistant

The text editor has a built-in AI assistant that can help you write and improve your content. Learn more about the AI assistant.

Images

  • Upload one or more images to the page
  • Drag images to reorder them
  • Add a caption to each image
  • Select an image for Open Graph —the image that appears when the page is shared on social media

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Fields

  • Title — The page’s title in search results (recommended max 60 characters)
  • Description — The page’s description in search results (recommended max 155 characters)
  • Open Graph title and description — Used when the page is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Primary keyword — The most important keyword for the page
  • Noindex — Enable this if you do not want the page to appear in search engines

A Google preview shows you in real time how the page will appear in search results.

Internal Search

Add optional keywords so customers can find the page via the store’s internal search function. Enter one word per line.

Advanced

  • Tag — An optional tag that can be used to identify the page within the theme
  • Extra fields — Key-value pairs in the format key=value (one per line). Can be used in the theme to display additional information
  • HTML fields — Advanced fields for use in the theme
  • Use as Front Page — Mark this page as the front page of your online store. Only one page can be the front page at a time

Dynamic tags

In the page text, you can use dynamic tags that are automatically replaced with current values:

  • [YEAR] — Current year
  • [MONTH] — Current month
  • [SEASON] — Current season
  • [WEBSHOP_NAME] — Your store name
  • [COMPANY_NAME], [COMPANY_ADDRESS], [COMPANY_EMAIL], etc. — Company information
  • [FREESHIPPING] — Free shipping threshold

These tags are particularly useful on pages such as Terms and Conditions, where you can automatically insert your company name, address, and business registration number. Learn more about dynamic tags.

Order

In the overview, you can change the order of your pages by entering a number in the Weight column and clicking Save Order. Lower numbers appear first.

Page Builder

If your theme supports Page Builder, you can build your page’s layout using blocks such as hero sections, product lists, banners, and much more—all without any coding. You’ll find the Page Builder button in the page list and on the edit page. Learn more about Page Builder.

Delete a Page

Open the page and click Delete at the bottom. Confirm the deletion in the dialog box. Deletion cannot be undone.

Tip: Static pages are ideal for legal texts such as Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, because you can use dynamic tags to automatically insert company information.
