Pages

Reading time: approx. {eight} minutes
Shopejer

Static pages are fixed content pages in your online store - e.g. About us, Terms and conditions, Contact or FAQ. They are independent of products and categories and are typically used for information that does not change frequently.

Where do I find static pages?

You can find your static pages under Content → Static pages in your Shoporama administration. Here you can see an overview of all your pages, create new ones and change the order.

Create a new page

  1. Go to Content → Static pages
  2. Click Create new page
  3. Enter a headline - this is also used to automatically generate the page URL
  4. Write your content in the text editor
  5. Optionally upload images
  6. Click Save

Edit an existing page

Click the page name in the overview to open the edit page. Here you have access to the following sections:

General

  • Heading - Page title, displayed as H1 on the page
  • Address - URL slug for the page (e.g. om-os). Automatically generated from the header, but can be customized
  • Text - Page content in a rich text editor with formatting, links and images

AI assistant

The text editor has a built-in AI assistant to help you write and improve your content. Read more about the AI assistant.

Images

  • Upload one or more images to the page
  • Drag images to change the order
  • Add a caption to each image
  • Select an image for the Open Graph - the image that appears when the page is shared on social media

Fields for search engines (SEO)

  • Title - Page title in search results (recommended max 60 characters)
  • Description - Page description in search results (recommended max 155 characters)
  • Open Graph title and description - Used when the page is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
  • Primary keyword - The most important keyword for the page
  • Noindex - Enable this if you do not want the page to appear in search engines

A Google preview shows you in real-time what the page will look like in search results.

Internal search

Add optional keywords so customers can find the page via the shop's internal search function. Type one word per line.

Advanced

  • Tag - An optional tag that can be used to identify the page in the theme
  • Extra fields - Key-value pairs in the format key=value (one per line). Can be used in the theme to display extra information
  • HTML fields - Advanced fields for use in the theme
  • Use on front page - Mark this page as the front page of your online shop. Only one page can be the front page at a time

Dynamic tags

In the page text, you can use dynamic tags that are automatically replaced with current values:

  • [YEAR] - Current year
  • [MONTH] - Current month
  • [SEASON] - Current season
  • [WEBSHOP_NAME] - Your shop name
  • [COMPANY_NAME], [COMPANY_ADDRESS], [COMPANY_EMAIL] etc. - Company information
  • [FREESHIPPING] - Amount limit for free shipping

These tags are especially useful in pages like Terms & Conditions, where you can insert company name, address and company registration number automatically. Read more about dynamic tags.

Order of appearance

In the overview, you can change the order of your pages by entering a number in the Order column and clicking Save order. Lower numbers are displayed first.

Page Builder

If your theme supports Page Builder, you can build your page layout with blocks like hero sections, product lists, banners and more - all without coding. You'll find the Page Builder button in the page list and on the edit page. Read more about Page Builder.

Delete a page

Open the page and click Delete at the bottom. Confirm the deletion in the dialog. Deleting cannot be undone.

Tip: Static pages are ideal for legal texts like Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, because you can use dynamic tags to automatically insert company information.
