From June 19, 2026, Danish webshops must allow consumers to cancel a purchase directly online. With Shoporama's digital undo feature, you're ready without any setup. It works in all webshops and your customers can cancel in two simple steps.
A legal requirement that just works
The new rule in the Consumer Contracts Act requires that the right of withdrawal can be exercised via a clear and easily accessible online function. An email address or paper form is no longer enough. Shoporama has built the function centrally, so you as a store owner don't have to do anything to be in place.
Here's how it works
- The customer finds their order via the link in the order confirmation or by entering the order number and email. Login is not necessary.
- The customer confirms the withdrawal in two steps, exactly as required by law.
- The order is automatically marked with a Canceled label and a time-stamped note is saved as documentation.
- The customer receives a receipt by email and you receive a notification.
You stay in control
An undo does not automatically refund or cancel the order. It registers the customer's statement and notifies you so you can decide whether to refund, cancel or handle a return. The return itself is handled via the existing returns center. This way you can keep track of the order, for example, refunding only when the item is received back.
