Customers want to know who they’re buying from
The first thing a new customer considers isn’t the price. It’s whether the store is trustworthy. A Verified Shoporama store gives you a concrete answer to include in the footer: Shoporama has verified who’s behind the store, and customers can click through to see the confirmation themselves.
Seven requirements, checked automatically every night
The badge isn’t something you apply for. You activate it when your store meets the requirements, and a checklist in the admin panel shows you exactly what might be missing, with a link directly to the page where you can fix it.
- The store is open and hosted on Shoporama
- The store has its own domain, and the domain points to us
- The connection is encrypted with HTTPS
- The CVR number has been entered, and the business is listed as active in the registry
- There are no overdue invoices with Shoporama
If a requirement is no longer met, the badge will turn off automatically, and you’ll receive a notification in the admin panel. Once you correct the issue, the badge will reappear.
Four variants, two color schemes, five languages
The badge is available in wide, compact, seal, and icon-only styles, each in light and dark versions, so it blends into your theme rather than sitting on top of it. The text can be displayed in Danish, English, German, Swedish, and Norwegian, and defaults to your shop’s own language.
Placed without affecting your theme
Enable the badge, and it will appear at the bottom of your store. If you want it in a specific location, specify a CSS selector, and it will be placed there. You can also copy the HTML code and insert it yourself, for example, in an email.
Because we host your store ourselves, the badge is rendered directly into the page. This means no extra requests, no wait time, no layout shifts, and no third-party requests—unlike a cookie banner, which requires user consent.
A page explaining what the badge covers
If a customer clicks on the badge, they’ll be taken to a page on shoporama.dk that verifies your specific domain. It displays your company name, your CVR number with a link to the Central Business Register, and your website address.
The page also clearly states what the badge does not cover. We verify identity and operations, not the quality of the products, delivery times, or customer service. Customers can report a store directly from the page, and we can revoke the seal. A trust seal without a complaint process is not a trust seal.
