Here’s how Trustmade integrates with your Shoporama online store
The integration is built as an app in Shoporama’s App Store, and it’s designed so you don’t have to worry about any technical details:
- No keys to copy. The app has no fields for you to fill out. You install it, and the connection is set up.
- Orders are sent automatically. Shoporama sends the order to Trustmade when it’s created, when it’s paid for, and when its status changes. This happens in the background via Shoporama’s queue, so it never slows down your customer at checkout.
- Read-only access. The app is registered with read-only access. Trustmade receives data from your store but cannot modify products, orders, or settings.
- Widget with no theme customization required. The app inserts Trustmade’s code into your online store’s <head> after your theme has been rendered. You don’t need to edit any templates, and it works with both default themes and custom-built themes.

Shoporama’s built-in product reviews focus on the individual product. The customer rates it with stars and writes a review that appears on the product page. This provides more unique content for Google, and with structured data, the star ratings can appear directly in search results. The reviews are collected via an automated email sent an optional number of days after the purchase.
Trustmade focuses on the business. It’s the store as a whole that’s verified and reviewed, and it’s the overall rating that appears in the widget. Many online stores use both: product reviews, which help customers choose the right product, and a store rating, which determines whether they’ll even dare to shop with you.
How to Get Started
- Create an account with Trustmade and have your business’s CVR number verified.
- Go to Apps in your Shoporama admin panel, find Trustmade on the list, and click Install.
- That’s it. Starting with the next order, Shoporama will automatically send orders to Trustmade, and invitations will be sent out.
- Agree with Trustmade on where your rating should be displayed. Place the widget and embed code where they’ll be most effective: on the homepage, on product pages, and near checkout.

How much does the Trustmade integration cost?

Do I need to enter an API key or add code to my theme?

Shoporama sends the order itself—that is, the item lines, amounts, and the customer’s name and email address. This is what Trustmade needs to send the invitation to the right person and to verify that the review is associated with an actual purchase. The app is registered with read-only access, so Trustmade cannot modify products, orders, or settings. You enter into the data processing agreement directly with Trustmade.
Is Trustmade the same as Shoporama’s product reviews?
