Payment window
What is a payment window?
A payment window is the interface customers see when they are ready to pay in an online store. This is where they enter their card information or select an alternative payment method, such as MobilePay, Klarna, or bank transfer. The payment window is provided by the payment gateway.
Types of payment windows
- Hosted – the customer is redirected to the payment provider’s page
- Embedded – payment fields are integrated directly into the checkout
- Overlay/popup – the payment window appears as a popup over the online store
Shoporama supports payment windows from multiple providers, including QuickPay, Stripe, Nets/Bambora, and Adyen. The payment window is automatically customized with your online store’s logo and colors wherever possible.
